sometimes by a woodland stream he watched the water rush over the pebbled bed, its tiny modulations of bounce and flow. a woman's body was like that. if you watched it carefully enough you could see how it moved to the rhythm of the world, the deep rhythm, the music below the music, the truth below the truth. Rushdie, the Enchantress of Florence.... this painting is a gift to my grandmother aya on her 82nd birthday. finished a little bit ago its acrylic on canvas, you cant tell but the ochre colors are actually gold. its based on a painting by Chen Rong titled 'dragon in the clouds' and inspired by the movie flight of dragons.
