acrylic on board, 24 x 24 inches. completed summer of 2000 maybe. this image came around alot at that time, i painted a chair the same way and a lot of my sketches focused on it, im not sure if its a mother or a lover comforting another. the paint is really thin, in lots of spots the wood grain is visible.
